Registered on 03.05.2018, under the trust act, BURDS started with an aim to focus on the field of health, education and environment in Bangalore. The NGO organises many environmental awareness programmes, health camps, competitions and quizzes to engage children, the celebration of national festivals etc. “Education for all” is the slogan we firmly believe in and by that belief, we try to touch lives through various activities that enable our goal. So far we have reached over 1000 beneficiaries in Bangalore (Urban District).
Collectively striving towards a society free of exploitation, with accessible facilities of healthcare, hygiene and education along with being environmentally sustainable.
To indiscriminately empower people, their families and communities by raising awareness, promoting inclusion, reducing poverty, eliminating stigma, meeting basic needs and facilitating access to health, education and livelihood opportunities.
Teacher's Day Celebration
On behalf of teachers day the teachers will be honored by awarding mahathma jyothi rao phule award. For this award, every year the 5 members selection committee of education department selected 5 people who have achieved excellence in the field of education. In this year 2019-2020, Dr. S. Putta Swamaiah was honored.
Distribution of sanitizers
Due to COVID-19 crisis, we distributed sanitizers to students at Sunkadakatte, Bangalore. And explained about the uses of sanitizers. Improve hand hygiene, which in turn reduces the chances to contract disease. Hand sanitizer kill all bacteria and micro-organisms and are very portable
Dr. K. S Sanjay director of Indira Gandhi children health organization dedicating his life for the health children. It is very happy to say that he is not only giving important to health of children but also to their education. This year also our trust introduced scholarship scheme for educationally poor students in the name of KSS Fellowship. There are two students benefited in the year of 2018-19 and five students in the year of 2019-20 have taken his scholarship benefit. This year 2020-2021 we targeted 20 students to give his scholarship.
Computer Training Programs
We organized free computer training class for youth's in Sunkadakatte, Bengaluru Rural District. Around 150 students benefited from this training.
Dr. Nagaraju R.K
Dr Nagaraju R.K is the managing trustee of Bharath urban and rural development trust. He completed MA., Bed., Ph.D in Bangalore university. He is an active leader, social worker and community developer, and conducts lots of health, Education and environment related programs.
Chandrashekar .C has completed MA in sociology, Bangalore university. Presently as a working in team leader of NGO sector. He is an active leader, social worker and community developer. He give guidelines and advice to our NGO and is also involved in all our NGO activities.
She completed Bcom in Tumakuru University. Presently as a working in team leader of NGO sector. She is an active leader, social worker and community developer. He give guidelines and advice to our NGO and is also involved in all our NGO activities.
